Hi all,
If you are suddenly having issues connecting to WiFi, it might have to do with the retirement of the vummiv WiFi network. If you are having issues, you might need to reconfigure. Go to wifi.vanderbilt.edu<https://wifi.vanderbilt.edu/> and follow the link for "I have a VUnetID" to configure and connect to VU WiFi.
The email below has more details.

vummiv WiFi network outages October 30 and 31 in preparation for retirement
In December 2019, Vanderbilt's 'vummiv' WiFi network will be retired. After December, any device connected to the 'vummiv' network will no longer have network access unless switched over to one of the other campus WiFi networks.
In preparation for the retirement, 'vummiv' will be unavailable beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday, October 30th until 4 p.m. Thursday, October 31st. Devices such as computers and phones will automatically look for other network connections. Devices such as cameras, refrigerators, monitoring equipment, monopads, etc. will need to be reconfigured to connect to an alternate network. Please contact your local support provider if you need assistance reconnecting any devices to WiFi during the outage windows.
VU now offers four networks to connect to WiFi on campus: vuNet, vuGuest, eduroam, and vuDevices.
* vuNet has a new and improved onboarding process and is the preferred network for computers, cell phones and tablets.
* vuGuest provides an intuitive wireless experience for visitors to campus.
* eduroam is a global roaming network that allows VU faculty, staff, and students to automatically connect to the internet on campus and when visiting other participating institutions.
* vuDevices is specifically designed for connecting gaming consoles and other smart devices to WiFi.
For more information about VU WiFi networks, visit wifi.vanderbilt.edu<https://wifi.vanderbilt.edu/> or see the attached flyer.
