Subject: MRB3/LL Winter Holiday Service schedules 2023

Dear All,
Please disseminate the following information regarding Holiday Services to all personnel in MRB3/LL.
Door Access:
The MRB3 and Learned Lab buildings will transition to card access only at 6 pm on Friday, Dec 22, 2023, and will resume normal schedules at 6 am on Tuesday, Jan 2, 2024.
Procurement and Deliveries:
Purchasing & Payment Services will be closed for the entire winter break, returning on Tuesday, Jan 2, 2024.
Labs may utilize their One Cards to place orders if necessary.
FedEx and UPS will continue deliveries to exempt locations: MRB3, Learned Lab, MCN, MRB4, Light Hall, RRB, and PRB.

Custodial Services:
During the break, four custodians will be scheduled, with two dedicated to cleaning common spaces and bathrooms, and two for mopping lab floors or cleaning stairwells.
Extra supplies will be left in labs and common spaces on each floor the Thursday before the break.
Please leave trash cans in the hallways for the custodial staff to empty and pick up as much as possible in the lab space so crew can have a clear path to mop.
For additional custodial services, contact 615-322-2621; Plant Ops will be available 24/7.
BioWaste Services Holiday Schedule:
BioWaste LLC will be closed from Dec 25, 2023, through Jan 1, 2024.
The pickup schedule for BioWaste/RMW is as follows from December 18th to January 8th:

  *   18-Dec: Monday scheduled locations picked up
  *   21-Dec: ALL Monday and Thursday scheduled locations picked up
  *   25-Dec: No pickups
  *   28-Dec: No pickups
  *   1-Jan: No pickups
  *   4-Jan: ALL Monday and Thursday scheduled locations picked up
  *   8-Jan: Monday scheduled locations picked up, and regular service schedule resumes
