[Csbstaff] Lab and Office Security

Hi all,

I'm disappointed to report that some folks have recently experienced petty theft from labs and offices, notably on the 4th floor of MRB3 in CDC lab/office space. Let's make sure the 5th floor doesn't leave itself vulnerable. Please be aware of your personal belongings and refrain from leaving unsupervised laptops, mobile phones, purses, etc., where they might be seen and easily taken. Please err on the side of caution to avoid any unpleasantness such as ID theft.

Lock hallway doors when you leave in the evening, especially if you're working the evening shift. As always, campus authorities should be informed if you see someone walking through a secure area without an ID badge. Campus Police can be reached at 615-322-2745.

If you have any information regarding building security or other instances of theft, please let me know.
