Subject: **Outage of Wired and Wireless Internet** - Friday, July 30th

Dear Staff and Faculty,

On Friday, July 30, between the hours of 5:00 AM and 07:30 AM, VUIT will upgrade the code on the network switches in MRB III/Learned Lab.  Within that window, there will be a brief interruption of service for both the wired and the wireless networks. The outage will last approximately 30 minutes while the switches reboot. Please plan accordingly if you have scheduled overnight work using the network such as computational services with ACCRE or imaging which uses the network to transfer data to a NAS.
