VUBNMR Spectrometer Information
On the 502_CP TESET = 298.00 K corresponds to 298.00 K At 298.00 K chemical shift of HDO is 4.773 ppm
The Temperature on this instrument has been corrected internally
The set temperature reflects the sample temperatur.
The Temperature range on all Cryoprobes here is about 0 - 50 oC
The range on 601 is -35 to 60 oC
The maximum heater power is not to exceed 25%!
If you need another temperatur, please contact any staff.
Temperature range for Spinners
- White spinner: 223 - 353K (-50 to +80oC)
- Blue spinner : 223 - 323K (-50 to +50oC)
- Ceramic spinner: 90 - 450K (-183 to 177 oC)
(Ceramic spinners are very expensive and shoud ONLY be used for extreme temperature experiments)
If you need an exact temperature under your conditions, calibrate the temperature yourself using the 100%
Methanol or 80% Ethylene Glycol sample!
See Bruker Manual Variable Temperature Unit
Correction for 80% Ethylene Glycol (300 to 323K):
T(K) = -108.33 (Δppm) + 460.41
Correction for 4% Methanol (283 to 300K):
T(K) = -114.83 (Δppm) + 471.85
